  1. Where is Skoop made? 

We have three different co-packing partners all in the USA. One is located in Colorado, one is located in Michigan, and one is located in Wisconsin.

  1. How is Skoop made? 

We implement the best practices during our blending process to ensure you receive the healthiest, most nutritious superfood blend available. Skoop's products are drum dried at low temperatures at or below 220 degrees Fahrenheit. This is one of the most efficient processes for creating highly nutrient-dense powders.

  1. What is a Phytonutrient? 

Phytonutrients are the specific nutrient component of the plant - essentially the nutrients provided within the plant. Thousands of phytonutrients exist today, and researchers are discovering more and more each day. Phytonutrients are combinations of different naturally occurring molecules within plants that, when ingested, serve a specific function within the body.

  1. What is a Superfood? 

A superfood is a nutrient rich food especially powerful because they provide multiple benefits within the body including vitamins, minerals, essential fats, fiber, and/or amino acids.

  1. Are your products Vegan? 

Most of our products are vegan. Some contain honey and therefore are not vegan. The products that contain honey are:

  1. Are Healthy Skoop products safe to use during pregnancy and lactation? 

We always recommend you consult your doctor or midwife before adding anything new into your nutritional plan during pregnancy and/or lactation. In general, we do not recommend that pregnant women use Healthy Skoop products that contain adaptogenic herbs and/or caffeine. These would include:

  • Breakfast Protein
  1. Are Healthy Skoop products gluten-free?

Yes, all of the products in our Healthy Skoop product line are gluten-free. Our organic barley grass and organic wheatgrass are harvested before they have produced seeds. Upon chemical analysis the protein products are < 20 ppm gluten allergen.

9. Are Healthy Skoop products safe for children?

Children have different dietary needs at every stage of life. Our plant-based protein powders can be an excellent way to add quality plant-based protein to all diets. In general, we don’t recommend using supplemental protein powders in children under age 2. From ages 2 to 4 we recommend that you use 1/3 of the recommended adult dose mentioned on the label. And from ages 4 to 12 we recommend half the adult dose. We advise against the use of our

  • Healthy Skoop Energy Protein (in children under 12)

simply because caffeine intake should be limited in developing bodies.
